Oenoanda – Fethiye, Muğla
Oenoanda is a Lycian city located on a high hill near İncealiler Village in Fethiye. It is the southernmost member of the Kibyra Tetrapolis.
What makes the city world-famous is the massive philosophical inscription that the Epicurean philosopher Diogenes (Diogenes of Oenoanda) had inscribed on the wall of the city's agora. This inscription is one of the longest stone inscriptions of antiquity.
