Bubon – Gölhisar, Burdur
Bubon is a city located in northern Lycia, near İbecik Village. It is a member of the Kibyra Tetrapolis.
The city is particularly famous for its Sebasteion (Temple of Emperors). Bronze statues depicting Roman emperors (Nero, Marcus Aurelius, etc.) found here were smuggled abroad through illegal excavations; some have since been returned to Turkey.
