Perperene – Bergama, İzmir
Perperene (or Theodosioupolis) is an ancient city located on the Kozak Plateau, north of Pergamon (Bergama). It is thought to have been used as a summer resort or highland retreat for the Kingdom of Pergamon.
The ruins, hidden within the forest, are of interest to hikers.
