Kastabala (Hierapolis) – Osmaniye
Kastabala is a significant city located near the Ceyhan River, known in ancient times as the "Sacred City" (Hierapolis). The most striking feature of the city is its Colonnaded Street from the Roman period.
Although the city's history dates back to the Late Hittite period, most visible ruins belong to the Roman and Byzantine eras. It was also used by Crusaders in the Middle Ages, who built a castle there.
