Eumeneia – Çivril, Denizli
Eumeneia is a Phrygian city founded by King Eumenes II of Pergamon (2nd century BC). Located near Lake Işıklı, the city is notable for being one of the early centers where Christianity spread, especially during the Roman period.
Inscriptions and church ruins indicate a strong Christian presence in the city during the 3rd century.
